Noel at Brushfire Records Chile Benefit. Photo by Save The Waves. Our friend, underground charger, and filmmaker Noel Robinson drowned this morning while surfing Puerto Escondido. Details are few, but it appears his board knocked him unconscious underwater. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Noel in Chile during the tsunami aftermath. He was fearless, humble and a great human. He also made an excellent short film about humanitarian aid adventures in Chile, and he was a big collaborator and supporter of Save The Waves efforts.
